About Youth Art Month:
In 2012, March was proclaimed to be Youth Art Month in Madera by the Office of the Mayor and the City of Madera with the support of the Madera City Council and City of Madera's Parks & Community Services Department. It is recognized that art constitutes an important part of the Madera Community and adds to the human development of area youth. Youth Art Month was created to encourage young artists by offering a professional exhibition space for their work.
