WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - Hot on the heels of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, Heineken® will once again bring the fan-favorite House by Heineken experience to the Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival in San Francisco on August 10-12. Festival attendees 21 and over can kick back with an ice-cold Heineken in hand while experiencing exclusive performances from top musical artists and DJs throughout the weekend.
Legendary Hip-Hop icons Salt-N-Pepa, whose trailblazing career as one of the first all-female rap groups spans more than 30 years, will take the House by Heineken stage on Sunday, August 12. The nostalgia-packed performance featuring selections from their top 90s hits will be one that festival attendees surely will not want to miss. Additionally, Sunday marks the first time that Heineken is featuring an all-female lineup, culminating with Salt-N-Pepa's performance at 7:25PM PDT.
"This is our first time at Outside Lands and we're ready to bring our energy to the Heineken stage," said Salt-N-Pepa. "Heineken is known for being an avid supporter of the music scene, and we're looking forward to giving our fans in San Francisco a true hip-hop moment."
"Music is a passion point for Heineken's core consumers and Outside Lands has become one of the most beloved festivals the country," said Pattie Falch, Brand Director for Sponsorships and Events, HEINEKEN USA. "We couldn't be more excited to bring the House by Heineken back to San Francisco again this year to give festival-goers a weekend filled with great beer, truly unique experiences and unforgettable performances."
In addition to Salt-N-Pepa, attendees will have the opportunity to see performances by Viceroy, Motion Potion, Makj, Rooz, Rachel Torro, Little Boots and more. This year's House by Heineken at Outside Lands will feature an enhanced outdoor patio, charging stations, a digital Instamural allowing attendees to be the "star of the House" by posting their photos with #HousebyHeineken on social to see themselves on the big screen inside the House, a Living Wall to serve as the backdrop for the perfect "grammable moment," and free cups of water throughout the entire duration of the festival as part of Heineken's "This One Is on Us" initiative.
