Immediately following the awards telecast on Sunday, September 17, 2017, Emmy nominees and guests of the Governors Ball (the Television Academy's exclusive Emmys after-party) will celebrate the evening's winners with three Sterling Vineyards wines chosen by the Television Academy Governors Ball Committee to pair with the menu created by acclaimed Chef Joachim Splichal and Patina Catering. Guests will enjoy award-winning Sterling Vineyards 2014 Napa Valley Cabernet, 2015 Sauvignon Blanc and 2015 Chardonnay, proudly crafted by Sterling Winemaking Director Harry Hansen, to show the depth, strength, and incredible quality of Napa Valley.
Adding an extra touch of exclusivity to the star-studded evening, Sterling Vineyards will debut Iridium, the winery's new luxury Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from select vineyards in Napa Valley. Emmy winners who enter the Winner's Circle to have their statuette personalized will receive an individually-customized bottle of the limited-edition Sterling Vineyards Iridium. They will also have the exclusive opportunity to enjoy a glass of the elite wine while they wait to collect their Emmy statuette.
"We are thrilled to unveil Iridium exclusively at the Winner's Circle inside the Governors Ball this year," shares Sterling Vineyards Global Brand Director, Tim Irwin. "Made with the finest grapes from an exceptional harvest, Iridium is the most intense expression of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, and the pinnacle of winemaking perfection. It will be an honor to share the wine with the winners, and celebrate television's finest at the Emmys this year."
