Carolyn Chloe Felix (81) passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018. Carolyn is the daughter of Martin and Catherine Calaway. Carolyn was a long time resident of Madera, and was a graduate of Madera High School. Carolyn’s family ran their own business, Calaway's Drugs, for many years in Madera. Carolyn was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Dave Lee Felix and her sister Marilyn E Paynter. She is survived by her children, Catherine, Martin, Bart, Dean, David, and Terri Felix, as well as her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Carolyn also leaves behind Lilly the Cat. 

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 6, 2018 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm at Jay Chapel in Madera. Vigil services will follow at 12:30 pm at St. Joachim Catholic Church with the Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 pm at the church. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Madera.
