Elvis Wayne Scroggins (91), a native of Altus, OK and a resident of Madera for 24 years and a former resident of San Jose, CA, passed away Monday, April 18, 2022. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Madera 2nd Ward and served in various areas in the church. He was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the US Navy.

Wayne drove truck most all of his life. He moved countless numbers families for Mayflower and finished his career with CTS Trucking. In all he spent 50 plus years serving people in the area of logistical cartage.

He is proceeded by his wife Afton Eileen in December 2015 and parents Alvin and Margaret along with his brothers Edward, Earl, and Elton Ray.

Elvis is survived by his two children, Steven Scroggins and his wife Gloria of Madera and his daughter Cheryl Scroggins of Madera, CA along with his three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 1:00PM at Los Gatos Memorial Park, 2255 Los Gatos Almeden RD., San Jose, CA
