Richard Sambueso Sr.(91) - In loving memory of Richard Sambueso Sr., age 91, a native and resident of Madera, California, who passed away on August 25, 2023. He was a Sergeant in the Air Force during the Korean War, a partner in the former Hal’s Market in Madera, and a member of St. Joachim Catholic Church.

Richard was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends, watching college football, and spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and gardening.

Richard Sr. was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Sambueso, and sister, Carolyn Sambueso (infant).

His sons survive him: Roger, Richard Jr., Randy, and Robert Sambueso and his wife Sandra.; Siblings: Bruno Sambueso Jr., DeeDee Martinez, and John Sambueso; Grandchildren: Shayn, William, Sally, Thomas, and Katherine, as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at St. Joachim Catholic Church in Madera, CA. Rosary 9:30 am Mass 10 am-11 am Burial Services to follow at Arbor Vitae Cemetery.

A reception will be held at San Joaquin Winery from 12 pm-4 pm.
