Carmen Pisan passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024. She was 92. The Lord called her home while she was surrounded by family.
Carmen was born in Riverside, California, to the late Salome and Nicanora Regalado. She was the youngest of six children. She lived and worked in different cities in California until she settled in Madera, California, where she met and married Richard T. Pisano.
Carmen worked in the medical field for over 40 years until she retired from Madera Community Hospital.
Carmen was preceded in death by her husband, Richard T. Pisano, brothers Nick, Paul, and Felix, and her sisters Virgie, Nellie, and Naomi.
She is survived by her daughters Christina and her husband Elias Mendez of Fresno, her daughters Jessica & Jennifer; Frances Martinez of Madera, her daughters Monica & Brianna; Julie and her husband Solomon Saldivar of Fresno, their sons Adam & Andrew; her sister Emily R. Rey of Madera.
Carmen leaves to cherish her loving memory: her six great-grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Our beloved mother was the heart and soul of our family, and she will be dearly missed. She was a loving, caring person, devoted wife, mother, and friend, always thinking of others first. “To know her was to love her.”

A funeral service will be held at Jay Chapel in Madera, California, on August 12, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. With burial to follow at Arbor Vitae Cemetery in Madera, California.
