In the early morning of Saturday, March 31st, our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Frank Gordon passed away at the age of 78. Only one week ago, all thanks to Frank/Poppoo, the family enjoyed a fun limo ride to San Francisco for his wife's surprise birthday lunch. As the family piled into the limousine, they were full of joy and laughter looking forward to spending a great day together; and a great day it was.
Frank valued spending time with his family including supporting his daughters Michelle as a high school lettergirl and Janie on the swim team; watching his granddaughters Ashley and Stephanie play softball, and Alyson and Cory participate in 4-H and FFA events.
Frank was born and raised in Madera, Ca. and married his high school sweetheart Betty Lou Lucckesi in 1955. Frank and Betty Lou were the owner/operators of Chambers Florist for 28 years. He was a member of Kiwanis International and Madera Golf and Country Club, and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger days.
Frank is survived by his wife Betty Lou, his daughters Michelle Padgett and husband Paul, Janie Grizzell and husband Tim, granddaughters Alyson and Cory Padgett and Ashley and Stephanie Grizzell. His brother Dick Gordon and wife Joyce, sister-in-law Diane Ricketts, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. As there will be no memorial service, the family welcomes visits at their home in memory of Frank.
