Annie Bomprezzi (99) a native and lifelong resident of Madera passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 in Madera. Mrs. Bomprezzi, a farmer, was one of six children born to, Ottavio and Anunziata (Panelli) Pistoresi, Italian Immigrants from Tuscany, Italy.
She and her siblings grew up on a grape farm in the Howard School District where she attended school and later married Tilo Bomprezzi who preceded her in death in 1986. She was a member of St. Joachim Catholic Church and the Italian Catholic Federation (I.C.F.) council of the parish.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Bomprezzi was preceded in death by her siblings; Edward Pistoresi, Mary Falconi, Italia Sciacqua, Gina Pistoresi, Jennie Bandoni and by grandsons Ricky and Eddie Bomprezzi.
She is survived by her son Nello Bomprezzi and his wife Jequita of Madera and by a granddaughter Angela Calhoun and husband Cliff, and by many extended family members.
Visitation will be on Monday, April 8, 2013 from 2:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. in Jay Chapel. A Vigil and Rosary will be at 7 P.M. at Jay Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 11 AM in St. Joachim Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum in Madera.
