Arvilla L. Gill (87), a Madera resident since 1944 passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 . Mrs. Gill was born in Jefferson City Missouri. A homemaker she had for a time worked as a secretary for the family business Teco . She was also an artist and member of the Madera Arts Council, the Daughters of the American Revolution, a former member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, and been a Rainbow Girls Advisor. She attended the 4th Street Church of God in Madera.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson Bryan " B.J." Gill and by a sister Mae Ellen Weber. She is survived by her husband Kenneth Gill of Madera, her children, Greg Gill and his wife Elaine Weakley of Madera, Leslie Cranmer and her husband Paul of Los Angeles, and Katherine Karle of Kansas. She is the grandmother of 5 grandchildren, Kevin Gill, Melissa Chase, Wil Cranmer, Wendy Cranmer, and Lori Karle, and was the great grandmother of Julian , Caleb, Jordan, Justin and Hannah.
A graveside service will be on Tuesday, May 25, 2013 at 10 AM at Arbor Vitae Cemetery.
