Jeana Snipes (61) was called home by her Lord and Savior on December 14, 2012.  She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family and friends. 

Jeana leaves a rich legacy of teaching young children about Jesus in her Bible class at First Christian Church for over twenty years.She has influenced many lives for Christ by her faithfulness and her loving example of a life lived in God’s grace.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Anne Harris.  She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Ron Snipes;  her son, Wesley Snipes; her daughter, Kimberly Snipes; four grandchildren, Brian Snipes, Allison Porter, Sarah Porter, Mekenzee Atkinson; her brother, Dale Harris, Jr.; and three sisters, Betty Brizendine, Virginia Harris and Linda Larson.

Memorial services will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at First Christian Church, 2300 Sunset Ave., Madera, California.  In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations be made to the memorial fund of First Christian Church in Jeana’s name.
