FRESNO – Head coach Jeff Tedford and the Fresno State football team will host a public scrimmage on August 19. It begins with a meet-and-greet with the team, 5-6 p.m., and an open scrimmage starting at 7 p.m., all inside Bulldog Stadium.
“I can’t wait to meet our loyal supporters and introduce them to this year’s team on Saturday, “said Tedford. “Please come out and interact with the players, say hello and shake some hands. Our players and staff have been working very hard the past few weeks and will appreciate your support as we get ready to kick off the season.”
Starting at 5 p.m., the players and staff will welcome the Red Wave onto the FieldTurf of Bulldog Stadium for autographs and pictures. There will be a selfie station and a limited quantity of posters available for fans to get signed. Fans are also encouraged to bring their own Bulldogs memorabilia.
Victor-E, the team’s live Bulldog, will also be on-hand to meet fans, lick faces and take pictures.
Throughout the day, Pardini’s will be open (Fresno State’s concessionaire) in the south end zone of Bulldog Stadium, and ticket representatives will be on-hand for fans to come out and "Select a Seat" for 2017.
Season tickets can still be purchased for as low as $99 and four and three game mini-plans are also on-sale. Both mini-plans include the BYU game on November 4 and all other games are available for choosing.
