Robert "Bobby" Atamian (89)

Robert "Bobby" Atamian (89) of Madera Ranch, California, passed away peacefully on January 31 2025. Born on December 1, 1935, in Chelsea, Massachusetts, to Yesav and Keghanou Atamian, Bobby moved to California as a child with his family, settling in Tulare where he attended school and College of the Sequoias, excelling in baseball and football.

Bobby proudly served in Korea with his best friend, Al, before returning to California, where he worked for an electrical supplier. He met the love of his life, JuDee, and they were married. Together, they raised two children, Kirk and Dina, on the family farm in Madera, where Bobby worked until retiring.

Bobby was passionate about woodworking, coaching Bobby Sox, and shopping for clothes. He was a proud 50-year member of the Selma Triple XXX fraternity and a lifetime member of the Farmers Breakfast group. Bobby cherished his family above all, and his grandchildren—Max, Lexi, and Mariah—brought him great joy.

He was predeceased by his parents and brothers, Oscar and Dickie. Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, JuDee, children Kirk his daughter Mariah and daughter Dina and son-in-law John Minasyan their children Max and Lexi.

Bobby will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A life well lived, he leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to family.
